Taiwan to China | Commercial Cargo
Sample-scale commercial cargo, cleared via commercial declaration, capped at RMB 5,000 per shipment
Commercial cargo means "commercial samples" — declared using a commercial invoice, suitable for e-commerce samples, brand samples, business proposal samples, and promotional materials. The recipient must be a registered company in mainland China, and the per-shipment dutiable value is capped at RMB 5,000. If your cargo volume or value reaches bulk, restocking, or formal import/export scale, we recommend using our formal trade service instead.

Please use our online rate calculator for shipping fees. As long as weight, dimensions, item value, tax rate, and destination are entered correctly, the shipment will be charged according to the estimate.
Prohibited & Restricted Items
Any counterfeit branded goods, pirated goods, or items infringing intellectual property rights are strictly prohibited.
Items related to information that violates the One-China principle, as well as sensitive, adult, religious-promotional, or restricted-rated materials.
Some food, cosmetics, and health supplements are subject to mainland China import inspection/quarantine or registration requirements. Our team must assess whether they can be declared for customs clearance, and additional documents such as ingredient lists or test reports may be required before acceptance — providing information does not guarantee acceptance.
Power banks, batteries, e-cigarettes, pressurized aerosol sprays, flammable liquids, etc. Batteries built into electronics are acceptable.
Cash, bank cards, SIM cards, ID documents, knives, weapons/ammunition, drugs, and similar items.
Electronics, drones, and special items are accepted only after confirmation per regulations. For large cargo volumes or values, we recommend switching to the formal trade service.

Please Confirm Special Situations First
- Commercial cargo only applies to sample-scale goods; the per-shipment value must not exceed RMB 5,000.
- Please provide complete information in advance for branded goods, electronics, food, and special materials.
- If cargo volume or value reaches bulk, restocking, or formal import/export scale, our team will recommend the formal trade service instead.
Declaration Requirements
- The commercial invoice must fully list item names, quantities, unit prices, and total value, matching the actual cargo, and should not be filled in vaguely; please prepare two copies.
- We recommend including a packing list detailing the contents and quantity of each box to speed up sorting and customs clearance.
- The recipient must be a registered company in mainland China. Please provide the full company name, unified social credit code, contact person's name, phone number, and address, matching the commercial invoice and order details.
- If declaration information is incomplete, incorrect, or false, resulting in additional tax, delays, returns, holds, destruction, or other costs, the sender bears full responsibility.
How Is Tax Calculated
Commercial cargo (commercial samples) is taxed under the cross-border e-commerce retail import model, and only applies to samples valued at RMB 5,000 or less per shipment — this is the upper limit of what this service covers.
If a shipment's dutiable value is within RMB 5,000, cross-border e-commerce comprehensive tax applies: import tariff is temporarily waived, and import VAT and consumption tax are charged at 70% of the payable amount — the comprehensive rate for most goods is about 11.9% (luxury goods and high-end cosmetics may be higher).
Commercial cargo only covers samples valued at RMB 5,000 or less. If the cargo volume or value exceeds this, it no longer qualifies for commercial cargo declaration and must instead use our formal trade service, with full tariff, import VAT, and consumption tax charged under general trade.
Shipping Notices
A complete commercial invoice is required, including item names, quantities, unit prices, and total value, in two copies, with clear and accurate information — not filled in vaguely.
We recommend including a packing list detailing the contents and quantity of each box to speed up sorting and customs clearance.
Commercial goods should not be split into multiple "personal parcels" to evade customs classification; if verified, this may constitute smuggling, and the sender bears full responsibility.
Commercial cargo is taxed under the cross-border e-commerce model, with a per-shipment value cap of RMB 5,000; amounts exceeding this require the formal trade service instead. The actual taxation method is determined by customs.
Food, health supplements, cosmetics, and other items subject to inspection/quarantine must be assessed by our team to confirm whether they can be declared for customs clearance, and additional documents such as ingredient lists or test reports may be required before acceptance — providing information does not guarantee acceptance.
Shipments can be arranged in batches according to your sample preparation schedule, but each shipment's declared value must still stay within RMB 5,000.
Lost parcels are compensated up to 2x the shipping fee; the value of the contents is not separately compensated — we recommend additional insurance for high-value cargo. If delays, holds, or returns occur due to false declarations, prohibited items, or customs policy, the sender bears the related responsibility.
